Hydranautics is one of the global leaders in membrane technology. We app₹ly state-of-the-art technology to manufacture industry&rsquσo;s most advanced, high-performance membrane products.
Since our inception in 1963, we are committed to the∏ highest standards of technology research, product excellence and customer satisfaction. We entered the Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane field in 1970 and are now≠ one of the most respected and experienced companies in the industry. Hydranautics€ was acquired by Nitto Denko Corporation, Japan in 1987 and we became a part of Nitto Global ∏Membrane Division (GMD).
The Nitto Global Membrane Division comprises of three pro♥duction facilities: Hydranautics, headquartered in≠ Oceanside, California, USA; a membrane manufacturing plant in Shiga P↔refecture, Japan and an element assembly facility in Shanghai, China. These three" facilities, in addition to a network of offices and warehouse≠s spanning around the globe, provide 24/7 technical and sales support with timely reβsponse to customer requests. Our continuing commitment to research aβnd technology results in the continued development ®of specialized membrane products.
Hydranautics’ products are currently in use oπn all seven continents. Product applications include potable water, boil♣er feedwater, industrial process water, wastewater treatment, surface δwater treatment, seawater desalination, residential water, electronic rinse water, agricultu♠ral irrigation and pharmaceuticals. Comprehensive customer service a$nd support is available round the clock and around the world.
A network of worldwide sales offices throughout the USA, South America, Europe' and Asia support Hydranautics’ global business base. Hydranautics is the first m$embrane manufacturer to meet the highest quality standards with ISO 9001 Quality Syste∞m Certification. Both Hydranautics and Nitto take pride in setting industry standards f✔or technical excellence and product quality, and welcome the oppor£tunity to respond to your most challenging water treatment requεirements.
Hydranautics’ & Nitto’s experience in membrane technology span✘s five decades. We remain committed to delivering innovative membraΩne technologies to meet the growing demand of the separatio∑n industry. As a result, we design and manufacture a broad spectrum of reverse o£smosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and microfiltration membranes in various configurations and chemistries.
We offer results:
Our Integrated Membrane Solution (IMS), are customized membrane solutions toγ meet specific business objectives and offer comprehensive t¶echnical support in the development of new technology
LD technology™ products are globally used for£ various applications for Brackish water, sea water desalination, waste water treatment etc. This new generation LD RO elements have been effectively usγed on difficult feedwater plants, including those treating reclaimed♦ wastewater, surface water and difficult well waters
Process Separation includes reverse osmosis (RO), nanofilεtration (NF), ultrafiltration (UF) as well as microfiltration (MF)ε membranes used in various special liquid-liquid se↕paration applications other than waste water treatment and desalination. DairyRO is widely φused in concentration of UF permeate, whey, skim milk and polishing applications.
SanRO® and SanRO®HS are specially used in pharmaceutical indu'stry to obtain USP purified water for injection systems. Pδrocess side offers a wide variety of NF membranes includ₩ing DairyNF™ and Hydracores which have a varied m×olecular weight cut-off ranging from 3000 Dalton to 200 Dalton∏. DairyNF™’s are widely used in milk an&d whey concentration, demineralization, sugar fractionation and various such appli•cations where low-pressure operation and high salt passage is desired. Hydracores have spe cialized applications in color removal in juices, sauces, food extract✔s, dye and protein and enzyme concentration.
On the UF side, Hydranautics offers membranes with 5000 Dalton and 10,¶000 Dalton molecular weights cut off and are widely used in whey protein concentration applications✔. Our microfiltration membrane with a 300,000 to 500,000 Dalton molec∏ular weight cut off is used to clarify saccharification liquor and other ∏starch process streams.
DairyRO
Hydranautics’ 40+ years of manufacturing best high rejecting brack↕ish water RO membranes is incorporated into making DairyRO elements. DairyRO composite polyamid¥e reverse osmosis elements are of net wrapped, full fit design, intended for daily ÷CIP in the dairy environment.
DairyNF™
Hydranautics’ membrane technology experience and innovation are at the core of eve✔ry DairyNF™ series membrane. Specifically designed for the separation of divalent anions and/or organic₽ molecules greater 200 Daltons from monovalent salts and lower molecular weight organics♣, DairyNF™ membranes deliver exceptional performance and value.
DairyUF®
Hydranautics extends its experience in membrane innovation and design to manu→facture the DairyUF series elements which deliver highest quality as well as most consiste♦nt and reliable performance available. Hydranautics has set a new indusαtry standard with automated rolling of these full-fit membrane nodules.
SuPRO
Our polysulphone MF membrane with a 300K MWCO provides high flow and rejection with excel¶lent tensile strength. It is widely used for clarification applications especially σin the sugar industry. Other applications include: clarification of enzym☆e streams, fruit and vegetable, juices, wine etc.
SanRO®
SanRO®and SanRO®
HS elements are USP compliant and typically used in producing purified water in pharmaceutical, medical, biotechnology, food, bev£erage and semiconductor processes.
Elements meet all requirements for purified water and confirm to FDA Regulation CFR, Title® 21.
HYDRACoRe®
Hydranautics’ HYDRACoRe® (Hydranautics Color Removal) membranes are sulfonatedΩ polyethersulfone-based spiral-wound, crossflow elements that can be use→d for
potable water as well as industrial applications in which color reduction with minimal removal of♦ dissolved salts is desired.
HYDRApro®
The HYDRApro® series is a unique set of spiral wound membranes↑ customized specifically for industrial process applications. These membranes are ba≠sed on existing
Hydranautics high-performance membrane products which have been specially designed to treat a variety of challe×nging industrial feed streams including high fouling, "high temperature, or chemically aggressive feeds.
