Oxygen Removal Membrane

ETO membrane is used to remove dissolved oxygen in water. It is operated in thr←ee modes according to different deoxygenation efficien$cy: vacuum, nitrogen sweep, vacuum + nitrogen sweep. Product water oxygen co✘ntent can be decreased to 3ppb.

membrane contactor is a kind of special hydrophobic hollow fiber array made of polymer materia§l. Then the array is spiral-wounded onto a water distribution tube, an‌d then the tube is installed into a housing (at the same timeσ, a baffler is formulated inside the housing).

Features of membrane contactor:

1) Hollow fibers are knitted into an array, so that a certain space can &be kept between these fibers. In this way, thousands of fibers are connected as a whole array ∑which can resist strong water flow and will not break. Bes'ides, the mass transfer efficiency can be improved in the array st≈ructure.

2) High fiber density makes it possible of ultimate gas removaΩl from water;

3) Central tube water distribution + Middle baffler structu"re, change the water flow direction to flush vertically towards hollow fib∑ers, which can improve the mass transfer efficiency between shell side and lumen side.

In many industrial processes, dissolved oxygen in water has negative influence: corrosion to± many materials. It may cause corrosion to pipes, boiler and other rel↔ated equipments. Membrane contactor system is modular de★signed, easy to operate, no need of chemical. Compared with vacuum t ower and other technology, it has smaller footprint but higher e♥fficiency!

membrane contactor can be used for deoxygenation in boiler feed water, semi-conductor and flat pl✘ate/TFT process ultra pure water (to prevent crystal♦ plate bending), food & beverage process water, ch‌emical industry process water, oil field reinjection 'water.

According to different deoxygenation efficiency,  membrane contactor is usually operated in αthe following modes: vacuum, nitrogen sweep, vacuum + nitrogen sweep. Pr∑oduct water oxygen content can be decreased to 3ppb.
