Amino Acid Purification

  Amino acid is the generic term for a class of organicβ compounds with amino and carboxyl groups, and more than 300 natural amino acids have→ been discovered, of which about 22 amino acids are needed by hum$an bodies.

      Amino acid is the basic unit fo™r constituting proteins, and most amino acids are produc♦ed by fermentation. Fermentation broth is an extremely complex  system containing microbial cells, metabolites and unconsumed media. The traditional process r‍oute includes centrifugation and plate and frame filter, b∏ut the filtrate quality is poor and soluble protein, carbohydrates, polypep§tides, pigments and other impurities can’t be removed effectively. It increases the ♠processing load of the subsequent processes and affects the o≈verall yield of the extraction process and the final product quality; however, the traditional f$ixed bed resin process has large resin dosage, high consumption of acid a₹nd alkali water, high cost and great pressure on environmental protection. The proce©ss flow is shown in the following figure:
 

    

    The ceramic membrane is used to replace the traditional centrifuge or pl♣ate frame to directly conduct filtration and clarification, remove protein, myceli™um, suspended solids, colloid, bacteria and other organic substances, i&mprove filtrate quality and reduce resin pollution in the later process; a continuous ion excha™nge system is used to replace the traditional fixed beds, save more than 50% of resin dosage, grea☆tly reduce water consumption and acid and alkali consumpti↕on and achieve cleaner production; after decoloration, the feed liquid enters the →nanofiltration membrane system again to carry out the concentration at low costs and reduce energy  consumption, while it can remove some inorganic salts and reduce the a✘sh content of products. The process flow is shown in the following figure:
 

    

  Application in sterilization of glutamic acid fermentation broth:

    Ceramic membrane is used for sterilization of glu&tamic acid fermentation broth, which can not only recycle prλocins, but also can reduce water amount in the process of departuφre significantly and reduce the sewage treatment load.

    Application in glycine purification:

    Glycine is also called NH2CH2COOH, soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol, 'and it is one of the important raw materials for food, medicine, chemical industry and so on.

    The ceramic membrane separation technology is used to remove sm≤all amounts of suspended impurities in industrial-grade glycin e to obtain food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade glycine pδroducts. The technology can effectively remove the residual activated carbon po←wder in the purification process of glycine, and thφe residual activated carbon particles are not foun"d in the microscopic examination, which can meet the quality requirements of the export.
