Deep Processing of Tea

Tea is the dominant resource in China, and the rise of tea beve∞rage industry has promoted the industrialization step of tea deep p rocessing. The turbidity of tea beverage is one of the technical problems in the producti÷on of tea beverage. Most of the reasons which cause turbidity are αrelated to the complexation flocculation of tea polyphenole substances, caffeine, so∏luble protein, pectin and other substances in tea soup. The traditiona÷l separation and extraction methods mainly include mechanical filtration, high speed centrifugati★on and chemical treatment, but the clarification effect and the product qualit←y are poor. Integrated membrane separation technology which' regards inorganic ceramic membrane separation tec÷hnology as the basis solves these problems: when the macromolecular protein pectin is re≠moved by the ceramic ultrafiltration membrane in tea soup, tea polyphenols, caffeine<, amino acids, catechins and other effective ingredients have been max₩imally preserved, which guarantees the flavor and stability of tea beverages; the clarified tea j<uice adopts the reverse osmosis membrane concentration, which replace ←the traditional evaporation and concentration process.

Process characteristics

    

  •     High filtration precision, hig>h filtrate clarity, good stability, the "cream down" phenomenon w♠hich is solved;
  •    There are less losses in tea polyphenols, caf feine, amino acids and other effective ingredients, and product purity can be improved§;
  •    No need to add medicament, no pollution, no residue, a green envσironmental technology;
  •    Compared with the organic ultrafiltration membrane, the ceramic u<ltrafiltration membrane can be cleaned by strong acid base oxidation reagents, whose PH value fro&m 0 to 14, and it can be cleaned and regenerated comp¶letely with a long service life;
  •    The filtration process only uses preσssure as the power of membrane separation with simple separation devices, easy operation aΩnd easy control of process parameters;
  •    Simplified process, short process and greatly shortened production cycle;
  •    The ceramic membrane has high pollution resistance, lo≤w requirement for tea juice pretreatment, and it can maintain hi‌gh throughput filtration for a long time;
  •    Ceramic membrane elements are resis↓tant to high temperature and they can be sterilized ☆by steam and oxidant;
  •    The content of impurity protein, tann↓in and pectin in filtrate is greatly reduced, so t✔hat the membrane fouling in the subsequent reverse osmosis membrane concentration is redγuced, and the throughput is increased, and the cleaning cycle and service life ar e prolonged;
  •    The film diameter is asymmetrical and it can© be washed online reversely;
  • The matching reverse osmosis concentration process has no phase change process at normal tempe'rature, which avoids the disadvantages of high energy consumption, lar≥ge flavor loss, high product viscosity and easy backmixing of the trad÷itional evaporation and concentration process
